Job details:
We are looking for a Programming Engineer to join a continuous improvement project at an industrial company located in Paterna (Valencia). The ideal profile has solid experience in industrial automation and a strong interest in production environments and control systems.
Key responsibilities
- Analysis of client requirements and definition of technical specifications.
- Design of functional descriptions and automation solutions.
- PLC and SCADA programming.
- Commissioning of industrial installations.
- Configuration of frequency inverters and process instrumentation.
- Technical support and field troubleshooting.
- Identification of client needs and proposal of technical improvements.
Requirements
- More than 5 years of experience in PLC programming and commissioning.
- Availability to travel.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Experience in Siemens environments (Tia Portal, Step 7, WinCC Flexible).
- Experience in Omron (CX-One, Sysmac Studio).
- Experience in Schneider (Unity, Vijeo Designer).
- Knowledge of industrial protocols: Modbus RTU/TCP, Profibus, Profinet, CAN.
- Ability to interpret electrical schematics.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience in industrial and commercial refrigeration facilities.
- Knowledge of high-level programming languages (C/C++, .NET, Java, Python, Visual Basic, SQL).
- Experience in SCADA development (WinCC, Cimplicity, Vijeo Citect, CX-Supervisor, Wonderware).
- English level B2 or higher.
