At Vidal Automatización y Control, S.L., hereinafter Vidal AC, we are committed to the safety and health of our collaborators. Preventive Modality Adopted: External Contracting Service – Sermesa
To ensure effective management of occupational health and safety, we have chosen to partner with a specialized occupational risk prevention service. We have engaged the services of Sermesa Prevención (hereinafter Sermesa), a leading company in this field, to help us identify, assess, and control occupational risks in a comprehensive manner.
Risk Assessment
At Vidal AC, we consider the identification and management of occupational risks to be crucial elements in ensuring the safety and health of our employees and collaborators. To achieve this, we have established a strategic collaboration with Sermesa. Through this collaboration, we implement a rigorous risk assessment process with the aim of effectively identifying, evaluating, and controlling hazards that may arise in our work environment, always prioritizing a preventive approach.
Phases of the Risk Assessment Process:

Hazard Identification: The first step is to identify all possible hazards and occupational risks in our facilities and activities. This includes a thorough review of processes, equipment, chemical substances, work areas, and any other element that may pose a risk to the safety and health of our collaborators.

Risk Assessment: Once hazards have been identified, a detailed assessment of each one is carried out. This involves determining the likelihood of occurrence and the severity of the consequences associated with each risk. We use specialized tools and methodologies to assign numerical values to these factors and prioritize risks based on their risk level.

Risk Control: Based on the results of the risk assessment, appropriate control measures are implemented to mitigate or eliminate the identified risks. These measures may include process modifications, acquisition of safety equipment, employee training, task reorganization, and improvements to facility safety.

Ongoing Monitoring and Review: Risk assessment is not a static process; it is carried out on an ongoing basis. Sermesa collaborates with us in implementing a monitoring system that ensures control measures remain effective over time. Additionally, periodic reviews of the risk assessment are conducted to account for changes in the work environment or working conditions that require new actions, so that measures are always adapted to reality.
Active Employee Participation
We value the active participation of our employees in the risk assessment process. We encourage their involvement so they can contribute their knowledge and experience in identifying hazards and assessing risks in their work areas. We believe this collaboration greatly contributes to the effectiveness of the process and to the creation of a safer work environment.
In collaboration with Sermesa, we conduct a comprehensive assessment of occupational risks in each area of our company. This includes the identification of potential hazards, the assessment of their severity and likelihood, and the implementation of appropriate preventive measures.
Health Surveillance Activity Planning
As an integral part of our commitment to occupational health and safety, at Vidal AC we strive to offer a Health Surveillance Program that ensures the ongoing well-being of our employees. This program is designed taking into account the current limitations of our resources and our current capacity to offer annual medical check-ups.
Annual Medical Check-ups
Our company already implements and offers annual medical check-ups to all our employees. These medical check-ups are an essential part of our health surveillance strategy and are carried out with the aim of assessing the general health status of each employee, identifying potential health problems early, and providing recommendations for their care and improvement.
The annual medical check-ups include:

Emergency Measures
For Vidal AC, the safety and well-being of our employees are our highest priority. We are pleased to inform you that we have a fully operational Emergency Plan to ensure an efficient and safe response to emergency situations. This plan has been developed in compliance with applicable regulations and is regularly reviewed and updated to ensure its effectiveness.

Our Emergency Plan covers a wide range of situations, including fires, evacuations, medical incidents, and other unexpected events. This plan is available to all employees and is implemented in a coordinated manner throughout the company. It includes:

Fire Drill
At Vidal AC, we place great importance on preparedness and effective response to emergency situations, especially with regard to fires, which are critical incidents requiring quick and coordinated action. We are pleased to inform you that, in accordance with current regulations, we conduct periodic fire drills at our facilities to ensure that all members of our organization are fully familiar with evacuation procedures and the proper use of safety equipment in the event of a fire or other emergency.

Promotion of Sport within the Company

In line with this, we sponsor local sports teams and promote the creation of internal sports teams within our company. We currently have teams dedicated to various disciplines, such as cycling, football, padel, tennis, running, hiking, among others.
